ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND
VIRTUAL SUMMER DANCE CAMP

JUNE 7 – 11, 2021
2:00-4:00pm

(K – 2nd Grade*) We invite students to come and join our virtual summer dance camp! This five day camp will include ballet and creative movement classes along with a group warmup each day. Our warmup will get our bodies and brains ready to move before students explore a variety of movement and dance techniques. The camp will also use visual arts, crafts, and music as a way to enhance understanding of the dance elements. One to two participants from the camp will be selected to receive a full scholarship to the Raydean Acevedo Colorado Ballet Academy. We will also host a performance opportunity for students on the final day of class and invite friends and family to tune in!

Classes will run from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm (MT) Monday (6/7) through Friday (6/11). We encourage students to wear anything comfortable while dancing along with bare feet if possible. Also note, if you choose to pay an amount over $40 for the summer camp, this will be considered a donation. As a nonprofit organization that relies on the support of the community, Colorado Ballet deeply appreciates your generosity.

*Note that ECE and 3rd Grade students may also register, however curriculum will be catered toward those in K – 2nd Grade.
